Who handles permits
The right office depends on the address, and it is not always the one you expect.
- Wilmington and Castle Hayne: New Hanover County.
- Carolina Beach: New Hanover County issues electrical permits. The town handles zoning.
- Hampstead: Pender County, because Hampstead is unincorporated.
- Leland: the Town of Leland inside town limits, Brunswick County outside them.
